The IRATDE hosts a biennial international conference on gifted and talented children, excellence across domains, innovation and invention during autumn in odd-numbered years. The Executive Committee determines the location and dates of the conferences. Bids or proposals to host an IRATDE biennial conference must be made three years before the conference.

Previous IRATDE Conferences:

 


The third biennial conference was held in Brisbane (Australia) from 19th-21st March 2015.

The theme of the conference was "Illuminating the Spectrum of Giftedness and Talent Development". Keynote speakers included Professor Elena Grigorenko and Professor Albert Ziegler.


The second biennial conference was held in Antalya (Turkey) from 25th-28th September 2013.

The first biennial conference was held in Xi'an (China) from 30th October-2nd November 2009.

The theme of the conference was the "Cultivation and Education of Creativity and Innovation". Keynote speakers included Professor Anders Ericsson.
