The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education joined the IRATDE as an Affiliate Member.

Ms. Qian Liu was appointed as the new Assistant to the Executive Committee of the IRATDE.

Issue 1/2010 of Talent Development and Excellence is now available on our homepage.

The Scientific Symposium of Giftedness & Creativity entitled  "Nurturing Giftedness Starts Early" was held from May 31 to June 2, 2010 at  King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Wilma Vialle was co-opted as the fifth Executive Committee member. She will serve as an Executive Officer.

Mr. Lyn-Rouven Schirra and Mr. Rami Shehab were appointed as Webmasters of the IRATDE homepage.

The second conference of the IRATDE will be held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, November 26-30, 2011.

Ms. Min Tang was appointed Assistant to the Executive Committee of the IRATDE

Shane N. Phillipson and Sivanes Phillipson were appointed joint Editors-in-Chief of the Newsletter. The Newsletter will be freely available online and circulated among the Members of the IRATDE.
